We spent Christmas in a traditional Japanese-style accommodation with plenty on offer. The friendly staff served a fantastic breakfast, with local delicacies to try, and were always attentive and informative. The hotel was ideally located for exploring the historic sites and great restaurants in the area. We particularly enjoyed soaking in the small onsen after a day of exploring.
There were a few minor issues during our stay. The air conditioning was centralised and turned off overnight, which meant that the room became too warm at times. Additionally, the bath facilities could have been better maintained. The outdoor bath was half empty, and the men's bath was broken and empty. however, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this accommodation to others.

The language barrier was a challenge when locating the hotel, however, a helpful local assisted us.

The rooms were cozy and the location was convenient for visiting nearby attractions. the staff was also friendly and accommodating, offering us a delicious breakfast each morning. the traditional Japanese accents throughout the hotel added to the ambiance.
the rooms were outdated and in need of some maintenance, which affected our overall comfort level.
